Delta Breez Ceiling Exhaust Fans

GlobalTowne is now carrying the Delta Breez ceiling exhaust fans.  DeltaBreez ventilation fans are ENERGY STAR® qualified and most have been designated ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2015. All Delta Breez ventilation fans are HVI-certified, California Title 24 compliant, and UL-listed in both the US and Canada. Most DeltaBreez fans are ASHRAE 62.2 compliant as well.

BreezSignature ENERGY STAR qualified fans are solid, elegant ventilation solutions with motion-sensing, humidity-sensing, dual speed, or single speed options. The Signature fan energy efficiency exceeds ENERGY STAR requirements by as much as 685% and is quiet as a breeze with noise level ratings as low as .3 Sones.

BreezSlim ENERGY STAR® qualified fans offer extraordinary power and performance in a compact design. Made for wall or ceiling installation, the slim is perfect for retrofitting or new installation with space constraints. At only 1.0 Sone, the Slim is the quietest fan of its size.

The BreezSmart Series incorporates Delta’s super reliable DC brushless motor at higher CFMs with adjustable humidity, adjustable low speed, motion sensing, and a delay timer. The BreezSmart Series delivers 130 CFM and 150 CFM at incredibly low noise, .3 Sones, while consuming less than 18 Watts of power.

BreezGreenBuilder ENERGY STAR qualified fans are remarkably energy-efficient with the use of DC motors. The GreenBuilder fan exceeds the ENERGY STAR efficiency requirement by as much as 835% and has attained the lowest noise level rating available of .3 Sones.

DeltaBreez ceiling exhaust ventilation fans are available with or without lights, LED lights, humidity sensors and motion sensors.

The first three letters of the part number indicate the DeltaBreez Series (e.g., SIG indicates the BreezSignature Series); the number following the Series indicates the CFM; an 'L' if present indicates a standard light; an 'LED' if present indicates an LED light, an 'H' if present indicates a humidity sensor; and an 'M' if present indicates a motion sensor.

Bosch Heaters are LOW NOx

Bosch Therm Units meet low NOx - Gas Tankless Water Heaters

Bosch Thermotechnology North America, a leading provider of energy efficient water heaters, heating and air conditioning comfort systems as well as high quality solar thermal systems for commercial and residential use, announced today the following Therm tankless products from Bosch meet recently enacted Low emission (NOx) requirements passed by utility regulatory agencies in California and Vermont: Therm C 1210 ES/ESC; C 1050 ESC; 950 ES; 940 ES/ESO and 830 ES. All models offer NOx emissions of 14 ng/J or 20 ppm or less. California and Vermont are currently the first two states to enact the 14 ng/J or 20-ppm NOx level.

In accordance with the new guidelines as published in new Air Quality Management District (AQMD) ordinances, the following Bosch models will no longer be sold nor allowed for installation in areas that are subject to these AQMD ordinances: Therm 520 PN/HN; 330 PN, and 660 EF/EFO. AQMD’s are regulatory agencies supported by state government to help control and preserve air quality standards for a given area.

Therm units from Bosch include a unique design using a wide flame pattern and secondary dilution air that results in a lower flame temperature during the heating process. Combined with condensing technology, which utilizes a secondary heat exchanger to capture more heat from the exhaust for preheating incoming cold water, these models offer an attractive tankless water heating option that meets future code requirements today while offering optimal efficiency.

The complete Therm line from Bosch features models with updated software that delivers performance-enhancing characteristics including a minimum activation flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute (GPM) and the ability on many models to cascade up-to-24 units for larger commercial applications. The Therm line includes ENERGY STAR® rated models, powered by natural gas or propane, which have an industry best 15-year warranty.

HVAC & plumbing professionals and affected homeowners in California and Vermont are encouraged to check with local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance of all tankless units with the new low NOx requirements.

2011 Federal Tax Credit for Tankless Water Heaters

The US Federal Government has extended the tax credit for tankless water heaters through December 31, 2011. However, the tax credit program has changed.

For certain Energy Star tankless water heaters purchased and put in service from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011 the Federal Tax Credit is 10% up to a maximum of $300. This tax credit includes the cost of the parts as well as the installation costs for your new tankless water heater.

In order to qualify for this federal tax credit, your tankless water heater must have an Energy Factor of at least .82 or a Thermal Efficiency of of 90%.

The Bosch AquaStar 2700ES is Energy Star rated and qualifies for the 2011 Federal Tax Credit for tankless water heaters. The Bosch AquaStar 27400ES is Energy Star rated and also qualifies for the 2011 Federal Tax Credit.

We are an Authorized Bosch Distributor and we stock both the Bosch 2700ES and 2400ES tankless water heaters. We carry all of the required stainless steel venting as well as the vent kits and Isolation Valve Kits.

ENERGY STAR Rating for Tankless Water Heaters

ENERGY STAR Rating for Tankless Water HeatersBy heating water only when it's needed, ENERGY STAR qualified gas tankless water heaters cut water heating expenses by 30%, while also providing continuous hot water delivery. Gas tankless models are a great choice for new construction and major remodeling, but are also popular as a replacement for gas storage water heaters.

Save Money and More with ENERGY STAR Qualified Whole-Home Gas Tankless Water Heaters

Cost comparison between tankless water heaters and traditional tank water heatersENERGY STAR qualified gas tankless water heaters provide hot water on demand, plus a whole lot more. Consider a qualified tankless water heater for your home and enjoy these benefits:

Save energy and money. You don't use hot water 24-hours a day. Yet a standard tank-type water heater consumes energy round the clock to keep the water in its tank hot. By heating water only when you need it, ENERGY STAR qualified tankless water heaters save the typical family more than $100 per year on gas bills compared to a standard storage model. Larger families can save even more.

Annual cost savings for a tankless water heaterContinuous hot water. Tankless water heaters provide a continuous flow of hot water, so there's no need to suffer through a cold shower if you're the last one out of bed. Unlike with a conventional tank-type water heater, the hot water is always there when you need it.

Space-saving design. A qualified tankless model saves you an extra closet's worth of space compared to a tank-type water heater. Gas tankless water heaters are small and wall-mounted, unlike bulky tank-type water heaters. Models designed for outdoor installation free up even more space and add versatility to your basement, garage, or utility room.

Fewer worries. Tankless water heaters have a life expectancy of 20 years, much longer than any conventional tank-type water heater. And with a tankless model, the risk of tank leaks and water damage is a thing of the past.

The Bosch 2700ES-NG (natural gas) and Bosch 2700ES-LP (propane) tankless water heaters are ENERGY STAR rated.

The Bosch 2400ES-NG (natural gas) and Bosch 2400ES-LP (propane) tankless water heaters are ENERGY STAR rated.
